The final countdown for the 2019 MVP Environmental Art Competition has arrived and things are heating up!
6 Finalists selected for the MVP Environmental Sculpture Competition!
After careful consideration MVP would like to congratulate the 6 finalists for the 2019 Environmental Sculpture Competition:
- Allister Windvogel (SS)
- Jean Mouton (SP)
- Karinsa Schutte (HS)
- Lwazi Sangweni (OKC)
- Taegan Martin (OKC)
- Zondagh Zaayman (SP)
Their sculptures will be built in the Masbiekers Valley of Swellendam in August and the winners announced on 1 September!

Thank you to all the students who entered the competition and participated in the workshops! Well done to each of you for showing up and taking part.
We hope that being part of the competition has inspired those involved and taught participating students something new about nature, art and community.
See you at the Prize Ceremony & Celebration on the 1 September!
On 1st September we will be holding an open prize-giving event in the Masbiekers’ Valley.
There will be singing in the amphitheatre, food in the forest and of course the prize ceremony announcing the winners of this year’s Environmental Sculpture Competition.
Everyone is welcome to join the celebrations!
